Cost of studying

The cost of studying in the UK depends on the tuition fees and the living expenses of the city you are studying in.

The annual tuition fee will be around £7,500 - £10,000 for a postgraduate course (lower for undergraduate courses and a little higher for MBA courses).

Most universities offer international students a 5-10% discount on full payment of the tuition fee before the beginning of the courses. The fees can also be paid in 3-5 installments.

The estimated cost for one-year post graduation course would range between (Great Britain Pounds) GBP 12000-15000, which is Rs. 10-13 lakhs.

Undergraduate courses, depending on the duration, will be correspondingly higher.

Funding your studies TOP

The preferred way to fund studies abroad is of course, bank loans.

Most public sector and private banks provide education loans to students for pursuing higher professional or technical programmes abroad.

The sanctioned loan can be used to cover university fees, purchase of books, equipment, travel and living expenses and purchase of computers.

Other essentials like study tours and project work are often covered by the loan amount.

The initial documentation required to obtain a bank loan includes:
* Proof of admission - Conditional / Unconditional offer letter from the university
* Schedule of tuition fees, living and accommodation expenses.
We strongly advise the candidate to consult different local banks in their hometown for education loans and choose the best option available.
